The Sabre Women in Technology hackathon is an initiative to support women with opportunities in the tech sector. Hack, code and build anything that resonates with the travel technology and has the potential to transform the way millions of people across the globe are experiencing travel.

The 12-hour hackathon is open to all women with at least three years of experience in programming, who have an eye for design and passion to code. You can either hack individually or as a team of two or three. The event not only gives you an opportunity to learn with other women and showcase your talent but also enables you to win prizes.

And if you are one of the best in the pool – you might as well end up with a work opportunity with us at Bangalore!

Round I - Online

Submit a Presentation that includes:

Pitch
What is it about, what it does, why is it important?
Is this something new or an improvised version of existing app/tool?
You can also include screen shots to support the pitch!

Impact and Applicability
Describe where and how the idea is applicable
What problem does your idea solve?

Return On Investment
Potential revenue it can bring
Productivity improvements (hours/dollar)
Cost savings

All the ideas will be screened and the qualified ones will participate in the Round 2 – Offline Hackathon

Round II - Offline

A 12 hour offline hackathon to be conducted at Sabre’s development centre at Bangalore.

Each team/participant will gain support from subject matter experts from Sabre who will mentor you during the hackathon. At the end, participants will pitch their ideas and the working prototype to a panel of judges.
