Team description
The transition towards Electric Vehicles (EV) can provide several benefits for the environment. Two of the main ones are the reduction of CO2 emissions and the possibility to provide flexibility services to the grid thanks to the capacity to store energy or to adapt the electricity demand. This team will build a blockchain-based marketplace for EV owners to offer the flexibility of their electricity demand to energy service providers/utilities/aggregators. Such a market can favor the deployment of EV by transforming them on a source of revenue for their owners, can help to consume more electricity when there is more renewable energy available and less otherwise, and can help the grid operator to operate the grid more efficiently, enabling a greater deployment of renewable energy sources. Please contact me if you're interested and you'll be present at the hackathon. I used Eris/Monax during my PhD and I'have used Fabric and composer for other projects, but I would love to have both frontend and backend developers in the team.
