HackAtom India: Build The Cosmos

While the human ability to come up with innovative applications is limitless, we often find ourselves encumbered by complicated blockchain frameworks that hinder our ability to create what our minds imagined. We believe the tools Cosmos provides change that, and we want to see what groundbreaking tools and applications you have to offer.

‘HackAtom India: Build the Cosmos’ is the first Cosmos virtual hackathon for developers in India to begin their journey into the Cosmos ecosystem. Cosmos provides high-performance, flexible, and interoperable building blocks to create blockchains perfectly tailored for all types of applications from finance, computing, gaming, and more.

Through this hackathon we aim to:

• Showcase the Cosmos stack to Indian developers to understand how easily you can build a blockchain by leveraging the modular tools provided by the Cosmos ecosystem.
• Incentivize building of creative applications with a clear product-market fit using the modular tools provided by the Cosmos-SDK (i.e. Ethermint, CosmWasm, etc).
• Kickoff a self-sustainable community of Cosmos developers that are able to mentor other developers who are getting started in Cosmos development.
• Build a narrative for Cosmos as a more flexible and simpler development platform for building blockchain applications compared to existing platforms.
