Lumohacks is a 24-hour hackathon where we use tech to improve the lives of people with mental health! A hackathon is an event where teams of 2-5 people come together to collaborate on a project. There will be mentors in Healthcare / Tech, and 3D Printer. Lumohacks is open to students in any faculty from post-doc research, to med students, to undergrad. In the short term, we are spreading awareness about mental health and looking at ways to integrate mental health and tech, to improve the lives of individuals who are suffering from mental health. In the long term, Design Lab is positioned at the forefront of tech and health, and will be creating workshops and events to teach, inspire, and empower people in these areas.
