This hackathon is aimed at developing solutions using Microsoft Azure for Developers.
Microsoft Azure is a flexible, scalable, and full-featured cloud platform. If you can imagine it, you can build it on Azure, using the tools, languages and frameworks you’re already familiar with. Python, JavaScript, Java, .NET - you can run them all on Azure! You are expected to build innovative solutions and products for the hackathon using the services provided by Azure.

The Hackathon consists of 2 Phases:
Participants can register on the hackathon page and submit their ideas. These submissions must contain solutions to the problem statements that are added in this phase. This is an online phase.
Participants shortlisted in the first phase will be invited to build a functioning prototype based on their shortlisted Idea. This is an online phase.
With that spirit, Microsoft Hackathon is conducting a hackathon - Microsoft Azure Hackathon and invites all developers and hackathon enthusiasts to participate in an interesting and engaging hackathon.
Note: For your submission to be valid you need to make use of Microsoft Azure for building your prototype.
Calling out all the Data Science/AI/Machine Learning developers and researchers to build solutions that can support communities and organizations in leading the battle against COVID-19. Make use of Microsoft's COVID-19 Open Research Dataset for developers available via the Azure Open Datasets Platform. Use your AI/ML skills to design innovative solutions using a Microsoft Azure cluster that aids COVID-19 mitigation and prevention therapies, apps for diagnosis, and the likes that can be leveraged for strengthening humanity's fight against Coronavirus.
