Mindtree Digital Hackathon

1. 42 hours online Hackathon from 13th March 18:00 IST, 2015 to 15th March 12:00 IST, 2015.
2. Team size can range between 1-3 participants.
3. Participation is open to all.
4. There are 4 themes identified by Mindtree for the Hackathon

• Banking
• Travel
• Manufactering
• Hi Tech

5. Each theme has 2 sets of Problem Statements. Refer the Hackathon page to learn more.
6. Participants have to select a theme of their choice and need to attempt one problem statement in the selected theme. 7. Participants have to build applications around any one of the given problem statement in the given time. 8. Using the problem statement provided in the Hackathon you have to build a functional mobile app( IOS/Android/Hybrid), depending on the question.
9. On completion participants are expected to zip the source files and upload it via the upload option given in the code editor.
10. The submissions are evaluated manually by an expert. 11. The evaluation is mostly based on the following parameters - functionality of the app, design aesthetics and the quality of code written. 12. Participants have to submit a 10 minute video demonstration of the application,describing the planning process used to develop and design the application including a pitch for the solution.
13. Participants have to create a Dropbox for uploading the video and the links should be shared along with the submissions.
14. The size of the video should not exceed 25 MB and has to be in MP4 format. 15. Uploading a Readme.txt is mandatory & it is explain the specifics of the app uploaded like platform used, Editors used, 3rd party libraries used,  system requirements and instructions to handle (install) the app etc.
