IDEA SELECTION
- Participants should clearly state the problem they are addressing in few lines.
- Submissions must summarize the solution's high-level overview, its business and/or societal impact, and its innovative aspects.
- Documentation should be limited to a 1-2 page document or a 5-7 slide deck.
ROUND ONE
Prepare a presentation with the following details:
- Problem Statement: Clearly define the problem being addressed.
- Solution Summary: Provide a concise overview of the proposed solution.
- Detailed Approach: Include architecture diagrams, algorithm details, etc., as applicable.
- Impact Assessment: Describe how the solution will impact business, benefit intended users, outline monetization strategy, and societal implications if relevant.
- Prototype Demo:
- Demonstrate a working prototype or software/application
- Discuss next steps, challenges, and key takeaways
- Limit the presentation to 7-8 slides and a 3-4 minute demo
FINAL ROUND
Similar to Round 1, participants will refine their presentations based on feedback received in Round 1. Finalists will proceed to the next stage based on evaluation criteria.
The final round will include the teams pitching the idea to an audience that consists of internal and external executives, SMEs from the field of AI and business verticals, final 10 teams and other participants from and outside Rakuten. It would be an immersive and interactive session towards the end of which 3 winners will be chosen. The evaluation criteria would be similar to round 1 with a wider range of judges
