Pooja Shah, winner of Semicolon 2.0:
“The D-Day was jam packed with exciting rounds, a tour of the campus and loads of delicious food. It was a great chance for us to build our network and get to know more about SAP.
All in all, the entire month had been full of learning: starting from building something from scratch to presenting it in front of the judges.
After the hackathon, SAP invited us for a summer internship which was an even more memorable experience after which I joined SAP as a scholar in 2020 where we get to work in a corporate environment while pursuing our MTech from Bits Pilani”
Zaid Tergaon, runner-up of Semicolon 2.0:
“It gave us an opportunity to get a sense of real competition out there and a chance to visit their campus as well.
As the second round began, all the teams were even more prepared, and the bar was raised. After seeing them present, our confidence shook a little and I started having second thoughts on winning it. However, I knew one thing, that I was taking tremendous experience back home.”
For Zaid, the journey did not end there as “Later, SAP invited us for a summer internship in 2019. Those two months were incredible where I got exposed different sorts of technologies and got a real touch of a working environment.”
