Winners are announced.
Individual teams are required to submit the Requirement and Technical Specifications of the product to be developed in Phase 1 (Ideation Stage). One Team may submit specifications for one or more products/themes. The ideas will be evaluated on the basis of following:
Phase I – Ideation Phase
Evaluation will be done based on the following criteria:
a. Quality of the idea and how well the user / business needs were addressed
b. Uniqueness in the approach towards solution
c. Impact of the idea on the challenge(s)
d. User Experience and Functionality
e. Technical Feasibility
Following are required to be submitted for evaluation:
a. Video or Presentation addressing the evaluation criteria along with the following
b. Supporting documentation if any.
Phase II – Hackathon Phase
Evaluation will be done based on the following criteria:
a. Functionality – How relevant is it to a banking scenario across different business verticals?
b. Accuracy - How accurate is the result in real business scenario?
c. Scalability & Performance - Could this app scale as a real solution with multiple users?
d. Security aspects considered – Is the solution secure enough for a bank to deploy?
e. Customer Experience, Design, Look and Feel – Would a customer be happy to use it & also require less time to adopt?
The teams shortlisted for Phase 2 will need to provide working prototypes by 12th Nov 2017. The submission must have the following:
a. Working application as a Beta APK/IPK or weblink with appropriate instruction for running it.
b. Unit Test Case Document
c. Source Code
d. Video pitch
e. Complete Presentation
Phase III – Evaluation Phase
The finalists will be called to SBI, Navi Mumbai for evaluation. They will be interviewed by a panel of experts to judge the feasibility and fitment of the solution and the capability of the team to deliver the final outcome. Based on these interviews, the winners will be chosen. Selected Teams including the winning ones will have an opportunity of incubation and acceleration with SBI.
The decision of Jury would be final and no questions would be entertained in this regard.
