Rules

  1. This is a team participation hackathon. You must have 2-4 members in your team. 1 member team is not allowed.

  2. You can either invite your friends to form a team or you can request other teams to add you as a member.

  3. You cannot add/delete team members after the idea submission round ends.

  4. The hackathon phase 2 will start at Oct 30, 2017 12:00 AM and end at Nov 12, 2017 11:59 PM.

  5. It's an online hackathon, you can participate from anywhere.

  6. There are 4 themes of the hackathon, you may submit hack(s) for one or more themes separately.

  7. Once the hackathon starts, you will get an option to submit your hack, you can submit as many times as you want, the last hack will be considered as the final submission.

  8. You need to mention all the external APIs you will be using while submitting your idea.

  9. You are expected to come up with new and innovative ideas, any idea that has been copied from somewhere will be disqualified.

  10. Your hack must be developed entirely during the Hackathon duration. You may use open source libraries and other freely available systems / services such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds etc.

  11. The intellectual property of your code belongs only to your team.

  12. Team consisting of individuals who have not formed a start-up must have to register as a start-up if they are selected as one of the winners. Selected teams including the winners will get an opportunity of incubation and acceleration with SBI.

  13. By participating in the hackathon, you agree to the terms and conditions of HackerEarth.
