To help you bring your big idea to life with voice, use the Alexa Skills Kit, a collection of self-service APIs, tools, documentation, and code samples that makes it fast and easy for you to add skills to Alexa.
How to get started
Important Dates
Build an Alexa game that helps consumers to learn 1) a new language (E.g.- Duolingo for Alexa), or, 2) a new hobby (E.g.- how to sing?), or, 3) get in shape (gamify fitness), or, 4) manage their time.
Your consumer can be:
A 25-40 year old woman, or man, who uses apps like Duolingo in their cab journey on their way back from office, or when they are bored at home, to learn a new language
A 25-40 year old woman, or man, who wants to learn a new hobby like how to sing, learn how to turn table as a DJ. Alexa already has skills to teach consumers how to play the guitar, so make something unique.
A 25-40 year old woman, or man, who doesn't like exercising, and your interesting game can motivate them to exercise to earn points, compete against their others on leader-boards etc.
A 25-40 year old woman, or man, who wants a fun organizer, not the old fuddy duddy note taker, or reminder/ organizer
The idea is to gamify boring tasks, lessons, and use Alexa's personality to make them interesting; eventually help consumers form good habits
