As a part of the hackathon challenge, the participants are required to design intelligent IoT solutions for the following use cases:
Intelligent packaging
Intelligent IoT solutions that help determine if the products packaged are authentic and not counterfeit, detect tampering with packaging, monitor and alert users if the ambient temperature is not optimal, or alert users on expiry dates.
Indoor tracking
Combine indoor positioning data and business logic to achieve operational efficiency. Include indoor positioning, indoor navigation, etc.
Warehouse space optimization
Provide real-time occupancy levels of the warehouse, slot-level visibility, stock turnaround, detection of unused space in warehouses, etc.
Real-time hazardous chemical/gas detection
Ensure safety of warehouse by detecting hazardous, inflammable chemicals/gases that could get leaked from items stored in a warehouse.
As a part of the hackathon challenge, the participants are required to design intelligent IoT solutions for the following use cases that cover vehicle tracking:
Asset Management
Innovative, rugged, weatherproof solutions for tracking valuable assets in transit.
Smart locks
Smart locks that protect valuable assets in transit, and provide access only to authenticated users. These locks should also be able to detect tampering and attempts to open by unauthorized persons and at unauthorized locations.
Provide a smart IoT solution that enable seamless movement of cargo/assets across multiple modes of transport (roads/rail/water/air). The synchronized movement should be able to achieve operational efficiencies and optimize transport mode utilization leading to cost savings.
Design an IoT solution to manage vehicle emergencies such as accidents, breakdowns and notifications for other connected vehicles.
Design an IoT solution that allows connected and smart vehicles should be able to detect vehicle faults remotely and initiate workflows to address the faults.
