The software written by him & his team runs on 100,000+ servers around the world and forms the backbone of Akamai's Intelligent Edge Platform. This software powers >100 Tbps of secure & seamless Internet traffic for the world's most popular social media, streaming, gaming, and e-commerce companies.

Abhishek has 14 years of experience, primarily designing & developing features for a fault-tolerant and distributed network. He mainly uses C++, but also has hands-on experience using C, Javascript, Python, Perl and Java.

Abhishek holds a BE (Hons.) degree in Computer Science and an MS degree in Software Systems, both from BITS, Pilani. He has also completed an Executive General Management Programme from IIM, Bangalore.

This includes developing and maintaining Akamai's core caching, streaming, and web server technology that runs on Akamai's platform of 100,000+ servers located around the world.

Sameer has 8 years of experience, primarily focusing on improving the efficiency of Akamai's Ghost servers. Sameer mainly uses C/C++ but also has hands on experience with Python and Perl.
