Before using HackerEarth Recruit, candidates were manually assessed by recruiters to see if they could be advanced to further rounds. With no automatic assessments in place, recruiters had to spend a lot of time in the first-level screening of candidates.
Assessments on Recruit eliminated the need for manual assessments and the time spent evaluating them. This meant that recruiters could now devote more time to conducting in-depth, in-person assessments once candidates cleared the initial round of screening.
The main advantage of using Recruit to screen candidates was the amount of time it saved for recruiters. Before opting for Recruit, the recruitment team had to manually assess close to 30 candidates before filling out a position. After using automatic assessments, the potential candidate pool from which recruiters could choose a candidate came down to 10. Recruit was successful in filtering out almost 66% of the applicants before the recruiters could step in and assess the remaining 33% to find the right candidate for a role.
